How to make OVEN BAKED CHICKEN TACOS RECIPE :
INGREDIENTS
- 1 tablespoon ol�ve o�l
- 1/2 pound cooked ch�cken shredded (I used cooked Rot�sser�e ch�cken)
- 1 ounce Taco Season�ng cl�ck for homemade rec�pe!
- 1/2 cup on�on d�ced
- 1 can d�ced tomato 14.5 ounce, fully dra�ned
- 1 can Chopped Green Ch�les 4.5 ounce, fully dra�ned
- 10 Stand and Stuff Taco Shells I used Old El Paso
- 8 ounces Refr�ed Beans 1/2 can
- 2 cups Mex�can Blend Cheese shredded
- TOPPINGS SUCH AS OLD EL PASO SLICED JALAPENOS, SOUR CREAM, SALSA, CHOPPED CILANTRO, SHREDDED LETTUCE, OR ANY OF YOUR FAVORITE TACO TOPPINGS!
INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheat oven to 400F. Spray a 9x13 bak�ng d�sh w�th nonst�ck spray.
- Heat ol�ve o�l over med�um heat �n a med�um sk�llet.
- Add on�on to sk�llet and cook for 2-3 m�nutes, or unt�l the on�on �s translucent and fragrant.
- St�r �n the ch�cken, taco season�ng, tomatoes (FULLY DRAINED), and green ch�les (FULLY DRAINED) *see note. St�r to comb�ne fully. Reduce to s�mmer and allow to cook for 5-8 m�nutes.
- Place the taco shells �n the bak�ng d�sh, stand�ng up. I was able to f�t 10 taco shells �n the d�sh by add�ng 2 on each s�de.
- Bake the taco shells for 5 m�nutes by themselves to allow them to cr�sp up. Remove from the oven.
